<p>VICE x Team</p>
<p>Based in our London office, the Finance department is a newly centralised shared services team for EMEA who play a busy and vital role within the VICE Media Group. </p>
<p>Role x You </p>
<p>As our Management Accountant, you will work with the Finance Managers and the UK Controller to assist with cost accruals, prepayments, accrued/deferred revenue associated journals at month end for your entity plus be responsible for intercompany reporting and reconciliations for all UK entities across VICE.</p>
<p>Responsibilities</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Produce the monthly/quarterly management accounts for Paradise Industries Ltd including revenue recognition, P&amp;L variance analysis with commentary and detailed balance sheet reconciliations within deadlines to EMEA Regional Team.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Business partner with production teams and directors to understand business needs and be the point of contact for all financial matters for the above entity.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Oversee the bank reconciliations for all entities and ensuring all reconciling items are investigated and resolved including VEHL sweeps and accrued sweep interest.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ownership of Intercompany process which includes:</p>
</li>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Monthly UK intercompany reconciliations being performed, and differences investigated</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Communicating to all finance the intercompany recharges that are required to be billed each month and ensuring these are cleared in a timely manner</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Settling Agreed UK Interco Balances</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Completing monthly Interco P+L and balance sheet Templates for the US</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Reconcile and settle Interco AR/AP balances among all entities</p>
</li>
</ul>
<li>
<p>Weekly cash flow submission, liaising with the Accounts Payable and Receivables team</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support the UK FC in delivering the year-end audit (Group &amp; Statutory)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Development and integration of internal controls, process notes &amp; procedures</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>Experience </p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Newly qualified / part-qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 3+ years of experience in management accounting and financial analysis (production accounting is a plus)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experienced gained within a busy and fluid media / creative environment would be preferable</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>You will have experience in business partnering and communicate with finance &amp; non-finance stakeholders effectively and articulately for all International regions </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong system and Excel skills</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>You have these:</p>

<li>
<p>You will need to be highly organised, detail oriented and meticulous</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proven experience of working to tight deadlines; working effectively under pressure </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Capable of working independently without being micro-managed. A team player with a proactive and enthusiastic approach who takes initiative where needed</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>NetSuite/Salesforce/Concur experience highly desired</p>
</li>
</ul>
