<p><strong>VICE x Team</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Features team produces investigations and narrative features at VICE News. We cover stories of national and global importance, focusing on abuses of power and inequality in science, health, media, technology, and more. We are highl</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">y collaborative with each other and with other teams, but also do a great deal of our work independently.</span></p>
<p><strong>Role x You</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This job will offer unusual latitude to publish the stories you want to read. The Senior Features Editor will primarily be responsible for commissioning, editing, and publishing international coverage, broadly defined, working with the Editorial Director to determine its exact scope and focus. We'll be looking for stories about abuses of power and what life is like around the world that other outlets aren't telling, and to identify and develop regular contributors who can carry out ongoing campaigns of coverage. Other responsibilities will include working with staff writers on our desk and across the newsroom on everything from developing ideas to reporting to copy editing to packaging; paperwork; and, should you be so inclined, working on investigations and features of your own.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is a temporary role that will end in May 2021.</span></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The ideal candidate will have spent several years editing in a fast-paced digital newsroom. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">They'll have significant experience working on complex and legally sensitive stories, a deep knowledge of international affairs, a sense of what makes for an arresting story and how best to tell it.</span></li>
