<p><strong>Role x You</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re looking for a dynamic candidate who embodies a team first mentality and is focused on delivering high calibur results.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This role will be responsible for tracking all project costs across Netsuite and in our accounting software (PSL) and as a key liaison between the Production Team and AP Team. This role will ensure a smooth process between the production needs, the project budget, the AP and T&E team’s requirements and reporting to Finance.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This position will also be integral to bridge the communication with the Production Payroll team. </span></p>
<p><strong>In the short term</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">the selected candidate will get up to speed on the VICE Media Group policies and procedures and ensure alignment with the production team’s expectations.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></p>
<p><strong>But after 6 months in this role </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">will be the trusted team member to troubleshoot issues as they arise.</span></p>
<p><strong>And after a year </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">this role will be across multiple productions simultaneously and leading the charge on all items accounting related.</span></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years of experience in a production accountant role servicing TV and/or Film productions</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years working with a 3rd party production payroll company</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Past experience managing travel and expense payments</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proven experience in a fast paced environment with multiple departments to coordinate and liaise across </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>On a day to day you will work on the following:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Generate weekly cost reports for Line Producers and VP of Production.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Complete cost report functions: Audit Netsuite ledgers to PSL, Journal Entries, EFC updates, Variance Reports.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Report show budget variances to Manager of Production Accounting weekly.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Audit and post Cast and Crew payroll in PSL (accounting software) and Netsuite.</span></li>
</ul>
