<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The STORIES PRODUCER is responsible for pitching, producing and editing short form video stories as well as generating UGC content for VICE’s owned and operated social platforms. This is a position that is best suited for someone who is plugged into social apps and internet culture across&nbsp; Asia and can turn an idea into a video quickly and creatively.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The STORIES PRODUCER has&nbsp; a role that will be focused on two things&nbsp;</span></p>
<ol>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;Fun, short, culture-based, engaging video pieces for VICE socials</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">UGC content and strategies which allow us to engage more directly to our audience&nbsp;</span></li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">An ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another Asian language, work well as part of a geographically diverse team, and be able to produce video as part of a small, but nimble team.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is a dual role where a knowledge of Adobe Premiere is important. A strong understanding of VICE as a brand and also of how to draw audiences into our socials with content that is relevant (for each platform) and engaging.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities &amp; Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">An understanding and enthusiasm for the VICE style storytelling and also the willingness to break formats and try something new!&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Generate and pitch a high volume of&nbsp; stories/reels etc that are consistently on trend - and in line with the strategy and focus markets of the region&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ideate on briefs that comes in from the commercial team specific to social content</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Understand how to best package videos for high engagement rates&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with the Line Producer to execute digital greelint ideas within timelines and budgets&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ideate on UGC formats and execute&nbsp; greelit pitches within budget and timelines, in alignment with the Line Producer&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Show competency in editing with Adobe Premiere as well as a basic understanding of how motion graphics work.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work closely with HOC, Head of Audience growth to ensure we are consistently outputting content that is relevant and on trend&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Understand how R&amp;C processes work, especially in regards to User Generated Content&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Able to work in a fast paced creative environment and be able to effectively multi-task. </span></li>
