<p><strong>Role x You</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">VICE World News is looking for a social media editor to join our ambitious, growing global digital news offering. The position requires an experienced social media editor who has experience in a news setting, a familiarity with all major social media platforms, a deep understanding of the VICE News brand, and a passion for building and engaging with global audiences. This editor will work closely with the director of audience development as well as editorial teams in North America, EMEA and APAC on social packaging and search engine optimization, will flag and pitch trending and breaking news, and will create original, social first content.&nbsp;</span><br><br></p>
<p><strong>You have these:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Minimum 3 years of social media experience in a news setting</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong SEO and social optimization skills</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A data-driven mindset and familiarity with analytics and reporting</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Internet-brain” with your finger on the pulse of global and regional social and cultural trends.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Basic knowledge of graphic design and video content creation for social media.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The highest journalistic and legal standards&nbsp;</span></li>
