<p>Vice Media GmbH is looking for a<strong> Senior Accountant DACH (f/m/x)&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Tasks:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Produce the monthly/quarterly management accounts across DACH region (mainly Germany &amp; Austria), assist in the month end process for across the DACH region, including associated journals at month end.</li>
<li>Responsible for submitting monthly/quarterly reporting within deadlines to DACH regional team leads including detailed analysis and commentary on variances.</li>
<li>Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolution of action items.</li>
<li>Weekly cash flow submission, overseeing the work of the Accounts Payable and Receivables team.</li>
<li>Overseeing weekly payments run process</li>
<li>Support the DACH regional team leads in delivering the year-end audit (Group &amp; Statutory).</li>
<li>Supporting payroll process (accounting and recharges)</li>
<li>Managing intercompany, dealing with open queries, preparing reconciliation for year-end close and audit.</li>
<li>Responsible for VAT return</li>
<li>Fixed Assets Ledger maintenance, including review of system depreciation calculations, impairment testing, disposals and reporting.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Your Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Fluent in written and spoken German and English&nbsp;</li>
<li>Very good knowledge in German VAT law</li>
<li>Knowledge in VAT for AT and CH are a plus</li>
<li>Microsoft Office Suite mandatory and strong Excel skills</li>
<li>NetSuite experience desired</li>
