<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to head up and develop new relationships with some of our key clients and agencies within the Middle East. You will be responsible for commercially leading and developing key </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Client relationships at VICE</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Central to the role is the ability to strategically develop Client partnerships through a strong understanding of their business. You have proven experience in leading client relationships across a range of products or services within a creative or media agency environment. Reporting into the Sales Director MEA</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">, the </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sales Manager will have a key role in the design and development of the Middle East Business.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strategically developing strong and profitable commercial relationships with clients, developing and growing, across all brand publishing activity based on game changing work and delivery.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Working closely with other heads of departments to ensure all timelines and expectations are met.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Visiting big clients across agency patch and category to build and maintain the relationship in order to unlock new commercial opportunities for the business .</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Working with the Sales Director to develop strong forecasting and weekly reporting.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with the successful business model and leverage existing systems &amp; infrastructure wherever possible to ensure profitable growth.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify new strategic clients, advertisers and partners; implementing an effective sales strategy.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driving the revenue and gross margin numbers via direct sales to brands and in-direct sales through agencies.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensuring and owning a clear business administration and CRM system for the top clients in the Middle East market.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Establishing senior level relationships with relevant client stakeholders to enable us to pioneer new activities and ways-of-working, based on a strong appreciation and understanding of how we can enable our business to help their brands grow in culture.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Contributing to the company’s vision, new product and Sales &amp; Business Development strategy.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Making sure that the commercial needs of the business are represented. Working with the Digital Director, and the sales Director&nbsp; to ensure this presence.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driving new relationships and commercial opportunities from the key agencies and brands in the UAE and KSA markets&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Supporting the project management team in maintaining and building out further the client relations.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>The Candidate:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">6+&nbsp; years experience in a business development role in an agency, publisher or production company, with a natural aptitude for sales and business development</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">First class networking skills, a self-starter who is able to work independently yet can work as part of a team.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Commercial nous, and negotiation skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Good Media, production and agency experience and understanding.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Aptitude for working in a high-energy, results-focused environment.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A high-performance focus, solid work ethic and a very hands-on nature.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A clear passion and energy for business.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Solid written/verbal communication &amp; presentation skills (English).</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken) a bonus</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Impeccable personal integrity and business ethics.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Gravitas and exceptional management skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work on his/her own initiative.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Willingness to travel to KSA and Abu Dhabi on a regular basis</span></li>
