Manager, Ad Operations
OVERVIEW:
The Manager, Ad Operations plays a pivotal role in implementing and delivering effective campaigns across VICE’s portfolio of digital media properties and channels across the Global market. This will include working closely with global media sales and operations teams in North America, Latin America, EMEA and APAC. This role works cross-functionally as the “engine” of VICE’s commercial organization, ensuring seamless delivery of live campaigns while also serving as a valued technical expert in support of the strategy and sales teams. The successful individual would be required to work flexibly to support the global needs of the business.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage and traffic digital advertising campaigns across all VICE properties, including OTT and partner sites. 

Partner with media strategy and other operational teams to ensure full delivery and optimal performance across campaigns

Ensure creative adheres to technical specifications, including testing and troubleshooting third party tags and pixels

Investigate and resolve ad delivery issues and discrepancies

Analyze ad-serving data and generate performance reporting

Support Programmatic and Partnerships teams in day-to-day ad operations tasks

Perform monthly revenue reconciliation of managed campaigns in tandem with Finance

QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years in digital ad operations or related field

Robust proficiency in Google Ad Manager 

Experience with DV360 (formerly DBM), Google Display Network, Google Ads, Google Analytics is ideal, but not essential

Familiarity with the digital advertising landscape, specifically ad serving and related technologies (brand safety, viewability, and other common 3rd party verification)

Fluency in Excel (pivot tables/vlookups) and coding languages (HTML, Javascript, etc.) recommended

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that can be translated by both the technical minded and the sales minded

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively

Strong attention to detail and high capacity for problem-solving

High accuracy in the review of campaign data in auditing and data entry

Quick learner with the eagerness to learn new technologies and pioneer new workflows

Strong oral and written English skills.
