The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the oversight and development of our sales and revenue efforts across the digital line of business in Belgium, holding ultimate accountability for the delivery of the revenue goals for the digital line of business in the BE market.
You will be responsible for leading the BE VICE+ revenue and delivery functions, including direct management of the sales, account/project management, towards a cohesive, connected and client centric sales to delivery workflow.
Working in partnership with the Digital department, VICE+ in the BE, and wider global VICE+ stakeholders, you will also play a fundamental part in the development and execution of our creative proposition and product, ensuring the best quality of creative output at both pitch and delivery phases.
You will need to act as a steward of the global VICE+ strategy in the BE marketplace, ensuring that our teams internally, and our clients and partners, are clear in their understanding of our proposition in the market.
In this role, you will need to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the agency and client landscape in the BE, as well as with wider teams in the BE, and global VICE ecosystem, as it pertains to global development of our revenue streams as part of the VICE philosophy.
The sr. Account Manager will be a natural leader, with a diverse skillset including; leadership, an understanding of finance and revenue tracking / forecasting, salesmanship, a strong understanding of digital advertising and media, an eye for creative excellence and an understanding of the production process.
You have proven experience in leading client relationships across a range of products or services within a sales house, a creative, or media agency environment.
Reporting into the Sales Director BE, the Account Manager will have a key role in the design and development of the Belgian business.
Responsibility for the delivery of the revenue goals for the digital line of business in the BE
Strategically developing strong and profitable commercial relationships with clients, developing and growing, across all brand publishing activity based on game changing work and delivery.
Working closely with other heads of department to ensure all timelines and expectations are met.
Visiting big clients across agency patch and category to build and maintain the relationship.
Working with the sales manager BE to develop strong forecasting and weekly reporting.
Work with the successful business model and leverage existing systems & infrastructure wherever possible to ensure profitable growth.
Identify new strategic clients, advertisers and partners; implementing an effective sales strategy.
Building client direct relationships on the highest level.
Driving the revenue and gross margin numbers via direct sales to brands and in-direct sales through agencies.
Ensuring and owning a clear business administration and CRM system for the top clients in the BE market.
Establishing senior level relationships with relevant client stakeholders to enable us to pioneer new activities and ways-of-working, based on a strong appreciation and understanding of how we can enable our business to help their brands grow in culture.
Contributing to the company’s vision, new product and Sales & Business Development strategy.
Making sure that the commercial needs of the business are represented. Working with the director of integrated marketing and the sales manager BE to ensure this presence.
Working with the strategy and creative team on big pitches.
Supporting the project management team in maintaining and building out further the client relations.
Experienced commercial professional, able to demonstrate success in growing revenue and profit in a media / agency context
First class networking skills, a self-starter who is able to work independently yet be part of a focused team.
Media and content experience at a senior level.
Network within larger creative and media agencies and brands in BE is essential
Experience in business growth, leadership & team building, business development, and sales.
Proven ability to lead & grow an organization in a high-energy, results-focused environment.
