Position Summary:
The Director Production for Studio will oversee the production, budget and execution of studio projects across VICE APAC. The role requires extensive production experience and knowledge in order to be able to execute multi million dollar projects. The role required experience across multiple formats and large scale productions across unscripted (documentary, factual, reality etc) and scripted. 

Primary Responsibilities
The role will require the person to be a well connected production expert with a strong proven record of creative industry experience. 
Minimum of 10 years production experience (Studio/TV, long form content is a must)
International shoot production experience essential 
Proven experience managing large scale shoots (examples will need to be provided)
Has a strong existing culturally relevant network of creatives and freelance production crew

Job Description
Will be responsible for the overall execution and quality for the Studio projects across VICE APAC :
Works with Head of Content & Development team to put together timelines, budgets and assumptions sheets as per creative for clients during pitch phase
Works closely with other departments ie post production, finance and legal to ensure all necessary processes are followed through across shows
Once in execution, oversees the show production & direction team with regular check-ins with HODs of each project to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget and to agreed artistic & technical standards
Manages client expectations with respect to creatives and overall execution of the project
Responsible for sourcing, collating and engaging local and international talent and crew
Sharing Monthly/Quarterly report and updates on productions to Studio leadership team
Overseeing talent management and execution of talent contracts ahead of the production schedule and ensuring all other relevant paperwork is completed as per schedule
Supervising pre to post-production processes; throughout the duration of the project including budgets, rights and clearances, contract, talent management and more
Provide guidance, feedback, and strong leadership to the entire team, and ensure that the team is operating to the highest standard

Requirements:
Must have experience working in international markets
Concrete development experience, including piloting, planning and strategy, a must
Commercially driven, self-starter; enthusiastic and highly-motivated and a team player who works well with others
Strong knowledge of deal structures, rights, options, and talent negotiations a must
