ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear focused company, technology is central to everything we do. Columbia Sportswears Global Information Services (GIS) teams enable an IT infrastructure across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.

The Technical Product Owner is a critical role for the successful development, and support of Columbia's Enterprise Integrations. This role manages the work queue of an on- and off-shore set of engineers, sets priorities based on business needs, ensures visibility and transparency by reporting status, measuring results and holding vendor developers accountable to SLAs.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCEI
Drive the prioritization of production support and continuous improvements of existing mission critical Enterprise Integrations

Triage issues and evolve support best practices among the development team

Gather high-level requirements and business outcomes in collaboration with business teams across Columbia

Partner with Engineering Managers to allocate teams and to report progress

Coordinate the release activities with cross-functional technical across Columbias 4 brands

Develop and manage reporting/metrics for vendor off-shore resources to ensure compliance with SLA

Provide visibility to support and improvements to business partners

Serve as a point of contact for customer issues for Enterprise Integrations, ensuring the appropriate resources are engaged for timely action and quick resolution

YOUHAVE
At least 5 years of experience successfully driving teams responsible support and development of business or consumer applications

Familiarity with RESTful services concepts

Project Management experience (preferably using Agile Scrum practices)

A strong understanding of development (SDLC) best practices including requirements elicitation, design, automated unit and regression testing, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Experience with Conflict/Negotiation management and have the ability to impact and influence


Desired skills include
Prior Experience as software and/or quality engineer

Scrum Master experience

Experience supporting enterprise software

Experience working with Azure and C# applications
