About the job

Job requires operational excellence to assist regional merchandisers in data uploading/mining in/from systems, inventory tracking, order management of price tags & product labels, QC support (KC test/vendors QC), sample logistics, market research and other administrational duties when necessary.

To support regional merchandise planning:
Upload and register product master/buy plan/sell through forecast into the management systems (PDM/TM1/WebPOS/AS400) in accordance with regional merchandise plans and sales forecasts in a timely and appropriate manner.
To monitor inventory flows:
Keep track of overall inventory flows of Columbia footwear products across all seasons on a regular basis beginning/in-transit/sell-in/sell-out/ending inventory report to regional merchants for effective allocation & prompt action plan in response to market.
To manage product tag & care label logistics:
Upload product information including Price/Material/COO/Production date/Tech/Care Label, etc. on SKU level into Tag & Label order management system (VAS)
To assist QC claims & KC mark approvals:
Closely work with regional Customer Service team for footwear quality control/assurance, and support testing agency & manufacturing vendor for KC mark approvals to assure product safety & environmental conservation
To support scheduling management and material preparation for retail training:
Assist in drafting retail training materials and scheduling training sessions and programs.
To conduct market research and report:
Analyze regional market trend and competitive insights for market-relevant assortment planning.
To manage sample logistics:
Manage salesman sample storage and logistics for GTM waypoints.
To support other administrational operations:
Manage invoice claims and other duties where needed.
Contract Period:
1 full year


Specific Job Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel/Power Point)
Basic knowledge of footwear product and industry with business/consumer-centric mindset
Intermediate level of spoken/written English

Education:

Bachelors degree in business or related discipline Sports/Merchandising related degree would be a plus
New or 1-2 years of product, merchandising or equivalent marketing experience within retail industry (experience in a global company highly preferred)

Job Conditions:

Job may require hours that 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week.
May require some domestic travels.
