The Columbia Digital Technology - Data & Analytics group at Columbia Sportswear is seeking an outstanding individual with a passion for innovation, data and analytics. This position will work to deliver A+ analysis skills, game-changing creativity, expert know-how and respectful mentoring. You must be willing to learn and embrace a strong understanding of business processes and how they are supported with data and decision support software within the fashion/apparel and footwear business across wholesale and retail channels. The successful candidate will bring expert knowledge, best practice & driven execution to the table as a core member of the EIM group. This role will also work across the GIS Organization with business analysts, developers and consultants to deliver enterprise wide business solutions. The position will be responsible for supporting the analysis, design and support of BI & analytics requirements across all business processes including interaction with technical teams for all business process areas. This is a full-time employment position with limited travel requirements.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Work directly with product owners and developers to deliver the right data at the right time - Help drive the data & analytics roadmap at Columbia Sportswear
Relationship and backlog management with data & analytics stakeholders
Partner deeply with data architects to design enterprise data solutions
Participate in requirements gathering for new reporting requests
Identify the right technical solution for reporting requirements based upon the available technologies and functional needs
Adhere to documentation standards (e.g. change request forms, functional / technical specification documents, naming conventions, etc)
Build efficient reporting library by ensuring redundant reports are not being built
Effectively interact with all GIS staff members, including programming staff, data center operations, system users, business leaders and managers

YOU ARE
A Business Analyst with experience creating and distributing data analysis, reports & metrics
Experienced with big data warehousing concepts, reporting and analytics tools and data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
Continuous learner who brings a strong curiosity around data, analytics and process improvement

YOU HAVE
Bachelors degree required with a preferred emphasis in Business, IT, Finance, Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience within an IS Organization or Advanced business/analyst experience with data, analytics & reporting functions.
3+ years of experience data modeling, data warehouse design, or data mapping, profiling and query design.
3+ years of experience with decision support tools and processes.
In depth knowledge of applications development, including systems analysis and design techniques, problem determination, project control, and structured system development methodologies.
Ability to relate data to business process.
Retail, EComm or Consumer Products knowledge a plus.
Agile delivery experience, is desired.
