ABOUT THE POSITION

As Columbia Sportswears HR Shared Service (SS) Operations Manager you will be responsible for the management and guidance of the SS administration team, delivering operational and tactical services to the organization. Here you will utilize your expertise across core HR functional areas to oversee day to day operations, coach team members and evaluate global HCM processes and practices. You will take ownership of process excellence initiatives related to lifecycle operations holistically and analyze trends to ensure we scale with our business needs and growth. You will partner heavily with local and international stakeholders to strategize, prioritize and drive initiatives that elevate employee experience.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Manage day to day team activities and ensure compliance with processes, controls, and SLAs. Create and execute a training plan for the team (both new and existing) to ensure optimum performance and consistency in delivery through oversight and coaching
Evaluate and lead process design initiatives related to global HCM, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to continually monitor for optimization.
Establish process performance KPIs then monitor, measure and provide feedback on performance to help evaluate efficiencies.
Coordinate reporting and data collating for internal or external stakeholders, including summarization and analysis of trends and regulatory reporting. Makes recommendations to business partners based on this data
Keep up to date on regulatory changes that affect related processes and refers to knowledge base and resource information for processing. Partner with HR Compliance Program Manager on updates and trends impacting the operations area and plans to address
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholder groups (COEs, HRBPs, GHRS, GIS, Business Leaders, other support staff) and collaborate on operational trends and improvements
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements and program launches to ensure support and compliance protocols are aligned
Manage external vendors including selection, vendor relationship, and invoice reconciliation in partnership with procurement

Opinionated about HCM processes and obsessed by employee experience
Adaptable and can work well through seasonal ups and downs
A strong communicator and relationship builder with focus on stakeholder partnership

YOUHAVE
Never seen a process you cant optimize even more
Experience overseeing lifecycle activities in a large, global environment
Technical savvy with a large range of solutions, such as HCM, Microsoft products, etc.
A process excellence mindset, and preferably some experience with RPA, AI, etc.
Coaching skills that enable you to grow, guide and utilize a high performing team to achieve the organizations vision
