ABOUT THE POSITION

The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for the relentless improvement of the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.

The Principal A/B Testing Analyst drives the A/B testing program and works on high-impact A/B andpersonalizationtesting and optimization with the primary focus to provide coherent decision support, project & return-on-investment validation, and valuable insight into what drives improvements to our key performance indicators.Helps create a culture of data-driven decision making and incorporating A/B testing into all relevant areas of decision making.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
Identifies consumer cohorts and creates personalized experiences to drive engagement.

Collaborates with business partners to validate hypotheses and help stakeholders to strategically plan site opportunities and future test plans

Partners with business stakeholders to identify areas of potential for A/B testing and works with Product Owners on road map initiatives and testing to measure value.

Drives and oversees the testing life cycle process from ideation to planning, requirements gathering, execution, analysis, and results communication.

Maximizes testing calendar to make best use of available traffic and testing resources and avoid any conflicts between tests.

Develops, documents, and improves testing processes and policies to capitalize on efficiencies in the testing lifecycle.

Documents and communicates test results to stakeholders at leadership meetings.

Validates accuracy of data and results, conducts QA of site tagging needed for tests.

Perform other duties as assigned.


YOU HAVE
8+ years prior experience with eCommerce Analytics required

5+ years of experience as a subject matter expert in designing and implementing A/B tests required

5+ years of experience with coding and scripting (html, css, javascript, python, SQL)

Experienced with optimization tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely or Monetate

Experience with web analytics and web analytics tools such as Adobe. An ability to structure problems for analysis, analyze the data and understand root cause

Experience with presenting insights and making recommendations persuasively

In-depth knowledge and experience of different testing approaches (A/B, MVT, Personalization, etc.)

Experience in an Agile product development environment that includes multiple collaborating Scrum Teams

Experience with presenting insights and making recommendations persuasively, strong written and verbal communication skills including effective presentations

Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence

Experience with user testing methodologies and user-centered design principles

Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills required

Strong attention to detail including ensuring accuracy and quality of outcomes

Ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deliverables in alignment with goals
