ABOUT THE POSITION

Our Global Customs & Trade organization advances company strategy by providing best-in-class consultation to all our brands and regions. We are seeking passionate, proactive people to join our team of seasoned customs & trade professionals to help expand the value we deliver to the business. Our team ensures the companys success by creating a competitive advantage through duty mitigation strategies while minimizing risk through our trade and compliance programs.

As Columbias Senior Digital Capabilities Analyst you will apply broad theoretical knowledge of global trade to review and automate trade operations functions. Additionally, this position will drive projects and utilize enterprise and external source data to analyze, forecast and model trade risk and opportunity. You will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders to understand requirements, complete data analysis and interpret results to drive projects and collaborate on conclusions and actions.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Review core trade operations and processes to recommend, prioritize, and implement automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and enterprise value
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business initiatives. Perform analysis to inform requirements and ensure full picture. Model, validate, and produce results and findings to stakeholders and walk-through continued interpretations from automation
Review internal and external data sources, partner with teams to develop analytical tools for both compliance and duty mitigation programs
Promote data and tools that increase departmental access to data and capabilities to help stakeholders to draw conclusions and drive data-informed decisions
Develop tools to improve audit and risk assessment function
Create SOP and work Instructions for tools and processes
Build on-demand reports, dashboards and/or Data Stories
Facilitate team member process improvement projects by recommending tools and actions

YOU ARE
Solutions oriented, capable of identifying and solving complex problems involving multiple functions and departments
Data focused, applying analysis based on in-depth research and critical thinking to recommend or influence solutions.
A critical thinker, utilizing the input of cross functional experts and influence to support trade facilitation, regulatory compliance and corporate financial objectives.
Organized and detail focused and sorting key priorities

YOUHAVE
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant degree/experience.
Familiarity with programming language such as python
Experience w/robotic process automation or similar experience
Interest of issues related to international trade and regulatory environments such as: Dynamics of international commerce including export/import processes, trades finance practices, national and foreign statutory and regulatory provisions, tariff and nontariff barriers
