ABOUT THE POSITIONAlthough we're an apparel and footwear focused company, technology is central to everything we do.Columbia Sportswears Digital Technology (CDT) group enable an IT infrastructure across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores.These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.

As Columbias Infrastructure technologies evolve, we need to ensure we have a technically sound, innovative, and scalable plan to meet future demands.Our Infrastructure as a a Service (IaaS) team is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer working in Azure Cloud with secondary experiences in Datacenter, Server, Storage, or Network, technologies.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral part of the global Infrastructure team responsible for designing, building, securing, and operating IT infrastructure at Columbia Sportswear. This position is focused on engineering design and infrastructure projects with a smaller focus in support/operations escalation from our IaaS Operations team.You will be a vital member of the team responsible for our transformative and resilient global information technology.


YOU ARE
An infrastructure subject matter expert that is passionate about transformative, innovative, resilient, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure technologies

Someone that enjoys collaborative work and technical mentoring with peers and junior members of the IaaS team

An active listener and effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences

Someone with a strong affinity for creating and maintaining technical documentation

Familiar with IT Service Management (ITSM / ITIL) and IT Operations and have experience enabling and operationalizing new technologies for service teams

A self-starter and self-motivated

An analytical thinker



YOUHAVE
A minimum of 4 years of technical, hands-on experience in similar datacenter and infrastructure engineering roles
Experience and expertise in infrastructure design and build, particularly in Azure Cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) including technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, and VMware.
Experience working with Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and iterative planning using tools such as Azure DevOps
Well-versed in infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, Ansible, PowerShell, TerraForm, and similar automation and orchestration technologies
Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM / ITIL) and IT Operations and have experience enabling and operationalizing new technologies for service teams
