ABOUT THE POSITION
The Mountain Hardwear Regional Supply Planner we are seeking, is responsible for the optimization of a finished goods flow plan across all categories within a specific region. Ultimately, through target setting, analytics, collaboration, and problem solving this Regional Supply Planner will be focused on maximizing service levels, as well as inventory turns. This position is part of a community of regional supply planners that work together across brands and regions to maximize service and profitability globally.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Communicate and provide high level visibility on seasonal deliveries to other regional partners. Incorporate tools provided by Global Buyers including regional shipping and tracking reports and factory OTP, as well as seasonal coverage reports provided by Account Operations
Be a liaison between Regional Account Operations and Global Buying regarding coverage related questions including late deliveries, direct ship coverage, no supply, future production, and expediting
Utilize demand and supply analytics to request prioritization of factory production to improve omni-channel delivery and coverage
Coordinate and facilitate Regional monthly deliver meeting with Account Operations, Logistics, Sales, and Planning. Provide visibility of delivery and coverage metrics by channe
Collaborate with Global Supply Planning and Global Buying to balance demand, supply, inventory, and product availability to ensure inventory and coverage targets are met
Support Demand Planning team on a seasonal basis in identifying inventory risk on pre-builds and 1-time buy styles. Collaborate with team to understand priorities/key initiatives and analyze the results to ensure alignment with regional inventory and buy strategies
Participate in activities supporting inventory transfers, and seasonal buys
Partner with Global Supply Planning and ensure a working knowledge of the global supply planning process and key intersection points to meet regional supply planning business needs
Participate in the resolution of capacity issues, production minimums, and late demand introduction processes. Provide analysis to ensure supply plan is optimized for regional order fulfillment
Collaborate with Regional Supply Planners in other regions on best practices and ongoing process improvements

Highly analytical and have excellent problem-solving skills
Proactive and assertive in follow-through with colleagues and business partners, including a high degree of self-direction
Interested in the outdoors and a brand advocate is ideal

YOU HAVE
Bachelors degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience
Required 3-5 years of professional and general proficiency with the various tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job. Sound knowledge of principles, practices, and concepts of the planning and supply chain
Experience in key supply chain functions including planning, forecasting, production planning, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution required. (Note: Account Services or Sales Ops also ideal)
Proficient experience using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to create spreadsheets, charts, and pivot tables; using of functions such as sum if, VLOOKUP, and similar required
Experience using SAP desirable
A well-developed ability to speak, read, and write English, including writing clear and concise business communication
Job requires hours that may occasionally exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during times of peak activity. Evening meetings and/or weekend work occasionally required to collaborate with people in other time zones and to ensure timely project completion. Some job pressure exists in the balancing of several projects with conflicting and sometimes changing deadlines.
May travel once a year for collaboration with other Regional Supply Planners.
