ABOUT THE POSITION

The Columbia Sales team partners withexternal partners(from wholesale key accounts to independent boutiques)and internal teams including Merchandising, Marketing,and Design to understandthe needs of consumers and the realities of the marketplace, as well as how our product best fitsin to that equation. The Sales teams business savviness andsales strategyexpertise lends itself to strongpartnershipsandsolid results.

As the Senior Regional Account Representative, you manage all sales functions for the assigned regional territory (California) to ensure the business grows according to sales projections. Responsibilities include management of all sales functions to ensure the business grows according to sales projections. Including account financial planning, assortment planning, and implementing sales and marketing plans. This position will also be responsible for projecting and tracking inventory needs and future production, coordinating special product showings, and working closely with customer service to resolve order issues.


HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Manages sales territory within budgeted guidelines and responsible for leading sales growth within assigned account territory.
Develops and executes territory business plan
Executes various clinics using customized trainings with product knowledge for specific accounts
Leads seasonal account planning meetings to include in-season key metrics, analyzing and managing sell through in season and makes recommendations on order shifts and flows to positively affect the seasonal financials
Works closely with accounts to establish appropriate sales goals based on sales history analysis and projected sales trends
Creates compelling consumer focused merchandising assortments
Uses strong presentation skills to tell the brand story, conducts seasonal sell in presentation, customizing for accounts and realizing larger opportunities.
Works closely with an internal Columbia team to co-create sales, financial plans, and planograms for directive in store merchandising.

YOU ARE
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the sales field
Competent in Microsoft Office
Strong in written and verbal communication
Able to handle and work with proprietary, private and confidential information
An out of the box thinker and willing to challenge the status quo creative ideas and solutions preferred

YOUHAVE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years experience in sales of Apparel, Footwear, Equipment and/or equivalent industry experience
Proven experience in creating merchandise assortments that add retailer value pulling information from markets, outdoor industry, product trends and key data.
Experience leading business reviews and creating marketing plans.
Strong understanding and application with retail math
Competency in Microsoft applications
Proven track record of sustainable growth
