ABOUT THE POSITION
Columbia Sportswears dynamic global supply chain consists of 4 distribution centers, 430 retail stores, 80 apparel factories and 20 footwear factories worldwide. We pride ourselves on being able to get products to market quickly, safely, and in the most cost-effective manner. By leveraging data analytics, we are constantly pushing to make smarter business decisions and identifying innovative ways to make Columbia Sportswears supply chain more efficient and effective to meet our consumers ever-changing needs.

The Supply Chain Business Process Manager in Manufacturing will drive business process improvement/transformation for manufacturing to streamline processes while improving overall effectiveness and efficiencies. He/she understands best practices for business performance improvement and process design, able to demonstrate ability to evaluate and assess gaps and opportunities and develop scalable outcomes. The Business Process Manager will document As-Is and To-Be business processes, conduct analysis to recommend optimization opportunities and metrics to scale for manufacturing. He/she will need to work cross-functionally and organizationally, partnering with business stakeholders, IT, etc. Finally, he/she will educate, coach and mentor project team members.


HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Making recommendations to business process changes based on experience, analysis, best practices and best-in-class
Liaise with our functional teams on assessment, design, and deliver complex, manufacturing processes that may cross multiple business lines
Conduct current state & gap analysis, create target state operating models and the process architecture
Collaborate with senior business line management to formulate and manage project scope
Developing performance metrics to measure the impact of implemented process changes successes
Participating in change management activities associated with process improvement, engaging leadership and stakeholders to obtain support and buy in for a change
Help facilitate and participate in Business Transformation & Change Management forum(s)
Working with cross functional teams to align opportunities for improvement

YOU ARE
Capable at business operations process mapping, redesign, and implementation
Excellent at project planning, control, reporting and presentation skills
Able to understand and navigate large organizations and business functions
A strong communicator who can collaborate and influence others in various levels, regions, and cultures

YOU HAVE
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain degree preferred
8 to 10 years of experience in project management activities
3-5 years of work experience leading process improvement or process engineering
3-5 years in change management experience
Experience leading Value Stream Mapping activities, including A3 analysis and 6 Sigma activities
Demonstrates executive presence comfortable to present in front of senior leadership
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to take ambiguous ask and transform them to desired outcomes
Ability and experience navigating a highly matrixed environment
