ABOUT THE POSITION

The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for the relentless improvement of the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.

As Columbia Sportswears Email Manager, you will lead the program and consult on the global technology roadmap. This role will be focused on planning and strategy to drive engagement, sales, and consumer retention. Responsibilities may include channel strategy, short range planning, owning the calendar, program optimization (segmentation, frequency, engagement, revenue), monitoring industry trends, campaign analysis, and presentations to Executive leadership.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Leads short-range strategy for brand, promotional, lifecycle, and triggered marketing to achieve engagement and financial objectives.
Manages and improves end-to-end campaign process: content strategy, creative briefing, scheduling, creative development, review, QA, deployment, analysis, and reporting. Is accountable for direct reports' accurate and timely execution.
Performs advanced reporting, segmentation, and analysis. Oversees creation and improvement of reporting processes. Guides and supervises ad hoc analytics work to ensure alignment and support of channel objectives and strategy
Creates and manages testing, segmentation, and personalization strategies. Manages marketing acquisition campaigns.
Manages vendor relationships, meetings, and administration of deliverables. Consults on long-range vendor solutions and tooling.
Responsible for ensuring calendar alignment with integrated campaign plans partnership with key stakeholders to resolve intra-department conflicts.
Performs other duties as assigned

YOU ARE
Expert in all aspects of email program management: segmentation, production, QA, deliverability, lifecycle marketing.
A proven leader, with a track record of building strong teams where employees feel valued and developed
Organized and effective in communicating with employees, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership

YOU HAVE
Bachelor's or masters degree, or applicable certification or equivalent experience.
5 years functional experience.
Experience managing individual contributors and a department or acted as a lead.
Experience managing Email marketing program(s), ideally within multi-channel retail environment.
Experience working with enterprise-level digital tools
