ABOUT THE POSITION
In this role you will work closely with the Sr. Manager for Special Projects to develop and bring to market collaborative apparel collections that achieve brand sales and marketing targets as well as other key objectives. Special projects include collaborations with other brands, licensed product collections (Disney, etc.), sponsored athlete uniforms and brand ambassador capsules. This will be a collaborative role involving a broad set of tasks including merchandising, strategic planning, partner management and other functions.
HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Collaborate with Sr. Manager for Special Projects to develop collaboration strategy for the Columbia brand and seek third-party partners in furtherance of that strategy. Evaluate other opportunities as they arise. Manage the portfolio of external partners and special projects calendar to hit annual department KPIs.
Work with department lead and third-party partners to develop collaborative apparel line plans that meet department objectives including marketing KPIs and revenue targets.
Work with cross-functional product creation partners to build brand-enhancing uniforms that meet the needs of Columbias sponsored athletes. This includes working with the Brand Partnerships team to ensure that the product kits are to the specific athlete specifications.
Support Collegiate PLM with seasonal needs including product submissions for university approval.
YOU ARE
A strong communicator both verbally and in writing.
A skilled collaborator and know how to partner cross-functionally.
YOUHAVE
At least 2 years of professional experience.
A background in product merchandising, ideally in a licensing setting.
Strong project management and planning skills, and an ability to meet deadlines.
