ABOUT THE POSITION
Columbia Sportswears dynamic global supply chain consists of 4 distribution centers, 430 retail stores, 80 apparel factories and 20 footwear factories worldwide. We pride ourselves on being able to get products to market quickly, safely, and in the most cost-effective manner. By leveraging data analytics, we are constantly pushing to make smarter business decisions and identifying innovative ways to make Columbia Sportswears supply chain more efficient and effective to meet our consumers ever-changing needs.

As the Logistics Analyst you will partner with cross-functional team members from Global Distribution, Supply Chain Operations, DTC and Global Customs & Trade Compliance on a daily basis. You will be responsible for all tactical elements of outbound logistics in the North America region, which includes the US and Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of product delivery to both retail stores and direct to consumer. You will also ensure strong delivery performance, collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, manage a trans-loading 3PL as well as the contracted outbound transportation providers whilst continuously driving process, service and cost improvements within our supply chain. In addition, you will analyze potential solutions, quantify potential trade-offs and implement cross-functional processes.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Manage effective domestic logistics processes for the physical distribution of products as well as the administrative control and information flow.
Monitor the execution of the daily routing by the distribution center and dedicated carrier. Follow-up with the timing of loading completion and on-time carrier pickup
Implements change management strategies to enable adoption of the strategies and supporting processes.
Identify and escalate exceptions with solutions
Be the focal point at a functional level for new processes and technology investment implementation.
Partner with internal business partners to develop needs and requirements
Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that product delivers to customers timely and compliant to customer expectations
Represent and contribute on behalf of the logistics function where needed when the organization engages in new projects as well as key initiatives.
Develops/implements/monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific focus on speed, cost, and service quality metrics.
Accountability to execute within the freight budget for DTC Retail
Provides Freight Analytics and recommendations to improve efficiencies and cost savings.
Ensure that our LSPs are meeting our performance and service standards


YOU ARE
A strong communicator who can collaborate and influence others
A quick learner and can learn new systems quickly
Able to multi-task, prioritize essential tasks and meet deadlines
Able to apply experience and knowledge to provide creative solutions to problems

YOU HAVE
Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant logistics experience including but not limited to 3rd party logistics, ocean import, air freight import and parcel transportation
Apparel/footwear industry experience desired
Broad understanding of supply chain processes, procedures and internal structure and partners
Knowledge of logistics provider(s) (carrier, 3PL, freight forwarder, etc.)
Experience in analyzing data and advanced Excel skills
Power Bi or Tableau is preferred
