$18/hour $20/hour with $2/hour surge rate and differential through January 2, 2022 Sign on bonus of $300 through January 2, 2022 payable after 3 months of employment Monday - Friday, 5am - 1:30pm Comprehensive benefits package including generous Paid time off and paid holidays, medical, dental, vision and 401k employer matching program Employee Discounts on Columbia Sportswear brandContributes to the distribution of product from Columbia Sportswear Companys Distribution Center by insuring our product is received, labeled, inventoried and shipped according to customer expectations and demands. Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility.
Receives incoming products and affixes proper labeling.
Makes boxes according to pick labels, loads on cart and picks to appropriate box.
Unloads cases from pick cart, verifies accuracy of packing. Seals cartons and sends to shipping.
Disposes of empty cartons.
Maintains accuracy and attention to detail while using Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accountability for all units.
May operate manual or automated material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or order pickers.
Maintains positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.
Possess knowledge of warehouse operations.
Ability to receive and understand verbal instruction in English.
Applicant must have excellent communication skills and leadership ability.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent requests/inquiries with some supervisory involvement.
Possess basic computer skills, including ability to use Microsoft Excel.
Good math skills are essential.
Must posses the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
Mental ability to consider different solutions to a problem and choose the appropriate action, often under pressure.
Ability to perform repetitive arm/shoulder movements, frequently lift/carry up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift/carry up to 60 pounds.
