ABOUT THE POSITION
Columbia Sportswear Finance & Accounting teams overseethefinancial health andforwardstrategy for a portfolio of four global brands. These teams exercise expertise across Compliance, Credit, FinancialPlanning andReporting, Tax, Treasury,Procurement and Strategy. Advancing traditional Finance & Accounting functions, the organization is also driving exciting innovation in the applicationofadvanced analytics andautomatedintelligence.
As the Cost Analyst for the North American Supply Chain accounting team you will be responsible for supporting various cross-functional tasks for our global brands. These tasks include month-end close duties, reconciliations, journal entries, maintaining strong internal controls, delivering timely, accurate, and relevant financial information. Here youll have an opportunity engage with cross functional teams, and perform as a collaborative business partner.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Perform month, quarter, and year end closing activities including account analysis, journal entry preparation/input, and preparation of internal reports.
Daily system cost maintenance.
Adhere to the costing calendar for significant seasonal updates.
Answer questions that support costing requests from Global Partners
Provide analysis to support understanding of COGS and PPV results
Provide support for Freight expenditure analysis
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
Comply with internal controls to protect the assets of the company
Ability to document and maintain processes and procedures (SOPs), and detailed work instructions.

YOU ARE
An independent thinker, capable of reviewing complex situations, and applying sound judgment
Rapport and relationship building focused
Organized, managing competing priorities, projects, and time with ease
Detail centric, analyzing facts and figures for a complete view of the accounting landscape

YOUHAVE
3+ years demonstrated knowledge of accounting practices, procedures, and daily activities
Accounting Degree preferred
Cost Accounting experience preferred
Ability to review and analyze financial statements and accounts
Ability to research and analyze large amounts of data
Aptitude in Microsoft Office, with a high level of experience in Excel and Word
ERP system experience required, preferably SAP
