About the job

The Distribution Analyst is responsible for monitoring daily distribution performance ensuring all the operating activities are performed without any disruptions and issues. This position works closely with 3PL Distribution, SC Operations, Go-To-Market to deliver the products to customer and consumer on time to maximize sales opportunities at marketplace as well as to maintain Columbia Sportswear Koreas service level requirements at competitive cost. In addition, this position is responsible for analyse 3PL service performance indicators and develop/innovate the efficient and effective operating process and flow enabling to optimize distribution service quality and cost.

Monitor distributions daily operating performance of all functional activities in inbound, outbound, return and inventory escalating issues to manager in order to take immediate actions to avoid any disruptions of distribution operations.

Adjust and confirm outbound orders requested by retail allocation team and hand over to distribution in timely manner for on time delivery to customer and consumer and order fill rate and back orders are tracked and documented if necessary to improve outbound service level
Initiates seasonal return with internal and external business partner to execute without any delays and issues resulting in unexpected cost increase and any business impact.

Support manager and 3PL to develop and improve process and system to be efficient and effective through dynamic data analysis and innovative idea resulting in operational excellences and profitable business growth.

Responsible for month closing of 3PL distribution cost validating all transaction numbers in Columbia ERP and WMS and report the final cost to manager for payment approval to 3PL.

Support to analyse current distribution operating processes and leverage global and industry best practices to create a roadmap in driving incremental improvements over time aimed at creating an efficient and responsive supply chain aligned with business needs.

Support to develop long, medium and short term distribution operating strategy and forecasting providing historical data analysis and involve price negotiation and bidding.


Bachelor degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
6+ years working experience on 3PL Management or Import Management.
3PL working experience is plus.
Good at both spoken/written English/Korean
Good at PC skill including Excel, Word, PPT, etc.
