HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

With a deep understanding ofprAna'sbrand, The Web Designer works closely with the marketing team to create and support all web and mobile-based creative for prAnas direct to consumer channel. The Digital Creative Team works closely with partners across all functions, such as eCommerce, Marketing, Photography, Social, and Merchandising. The Web Designer is responsible for delivering innovative and forward-thinking mobile-first designs that are well-composed, on brand and meet the marketing and business objectives. Proactive communication in the spirit of building the best possible creative for our customers is crucial for this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Working with the Digital Art Director, deliver beautiful, high-caliber designs that support our marketing and merchandising initiatives, while thinking outside the box

Employ industry and design best practices

Complete design for prAnas web program from start to finish
Design engaging and responsive landing pages.


Understand and troubleshoot brand elements as they relate to an adaptive website with focus on mobile-first design, including:
Typographic hierarchy.

Imagery and photo selection.

Consistent styling across devices / platforms.


Create digital assets needed for site and Digital Marketing efforts (various imagery / icons / buttons, email, banner ads).

Code HTML and CSS into web landing pages and email.

Lead projects and collaborate with design team members.

Contribute to elevating the overall aesthetic and development of our brand and digital guidelines.

Maintain and provide ongoing design of the website, promos and ad banners, seasonal content updates, special promotion materials.

YOU HAVE
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or equal combination of experience and education.

3-5 years of Web or Graphic Design experience, fashion, email and e-commerce experience ideal.

Front-end coding experience (HTML, CSS).

Experience in email design, editorial landing page and responsive mobile design.

Design portfolio demonstrating a range of branding, typography, email and web designs.

Solid knowledge of composition, color theory and incredible attention to detail.

Demonstrated talent for creative concepting, ability to clearly communicate design decisions to others and execute projects from start to finish.

Ability to navigate efficiently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills in writing, verbally and through presentations.

Strong technical skills; Adobe CC.

Positive, collaborative, hands-on and energetic attitude.

Strong creative ideas through to execution and effective problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational, planning skills

Elevated design aesthetic, and willingness to work with other design points of view.
