About the job

As our LME Maintenance Mechanic, you will mount, maintain, and inspect parts to keep the conveyor belt running smoothly and our team safe across one of 3 shifts - day shift (5:30 am - 2:30 pm), swing shift (1:50 PM to 10:20 PM), and graveyard shift (9:50 PM to 6:20 AM). Every day is a little different as you prioritize important maintenance projects, working alongside our team and operations to solve mechanical issues quickly. From plumbing to construction, industrial maintenance, and HVAC/electrical, youll troubleshoot and repair in real-time to keep our facility running. To thrive you must have experience working as a mechanic on conveyors in an industrial environment. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

As our LME Maintenance Mechanic, you can expect:
A to-do list that includes electrical repairs, installations, and troubleshooting unforeseen breakdowns.
Rolling up your sleeves and looking for ways to improve how our conveyer works to produce better outcomes.
Safety to be our number one priority. Youll learn our safety standards and make sure that everyone leaves as they came.

Specific Job Skills:
Possess good working knowledge of practices regarding hazard communication, chemical usage, material safety data sheets, lock out/tag out, emergency evacuation procedures and emergency generation procedures.
Requires valid LME (licensed maintenance electrician) certification.
Possess intermediate computer skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Mental ability to conduct interpersonal interactions with company personnel.
Possess good verbal communications skills.
Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, climb stairs and use ladders, sit and stand for extended periods of time, and regularly lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to use a variety of hand and powered tools, and possess an aptitude for mechanics.
Ability to move freely through the distribution center.
