PROGRAM SUMMARY

Interns can expect to gain valuable hands-on experience within their department while building partnerships with teams and fellow interns along the way!

Duration: 10 weeks
Date Options: May 25th- August 2nd or June 22nd to August 30th

ABOUT THE POSITION
The CDT DevOps team supports all of Columbia Sportswear. This opportunity puts you right in the middle of our eCommerce team's CI/CD infrastructure improvement project. The core piece of this project connects to almost every aspect of our ecosystem. The alerting and triggering framework will enable us to trigger events, and automation, before we even know there's a problem. The technology you will be using includes New Relic, Blue Triangle, Amazon Web Services, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Jenkins, and other systems that you discover as you dive into this exciting project.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
You will be working with monitoring tools, AWS, and other Cloud platforms to secure and enhance our production sites
Driving research of different platforms and develop a framework
Partner with developers and developing code that integrates with a CI/CD infrastructure.
Provide reporting status of projects and updates

YOU ARE
A strong verbal and written communicator, with the ability to engage with stakeholders
Pursuing a degree related to Computer Science

YOU HAVE
Knowledge or interest in learning JavaScript, Query Language Knowledge, AWS

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Current student with one of the following academic standings: Rising Senior, Senior, Graduate/ MBA student
Degree relevant to the internship you are applying for
Must be able to participate in 10-week program for either date option provided above
Must be able to work onsite at our headquarter location for the duration of the internship- interns will partner directly with their managers regarding expectations to work collaboratively in office specified days of the week

NON-LOCAL CANDIDATE CONSIDERATIONS
Relocation assistance & housing is NOT provided- these costs and arrangements would be the responsibility of the intern for the entirety of the program
