ABOUT THE POSITION 

In this role you will be joining a team of seasoned Loss Prevention professionals ensuring an effective and proactive approach to protecting Columbia Sportswear's assets in your defined market (Northwest-US).

As the Northwest Regional Loss Prevention Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory shrink through training, facilitation and partnership with store and operations management. You will conduct internal and external investigations within your assigned region and will perform audits to ensure adherence to policy/procedure, safety, and other regulatory controls. 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE 
Responsible for managing shrink reduction in high-risk retail stores.

Train store staff in areas of Loss Prevention and Safety.

Maintain physical security of stores (for example, locks, keys, alarm systems, and cameras).

Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and shrink management.

Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs that protect the assets of Columbia Sportswear and ensure stores are following these procedures. These assets would include employees, merchandise, buildings, brand integrity, and other assets of the company

Oversee internal and external theft investigative efforts. 


YOU ARE 
Able to advise Loss Prevention Management on issues that are impacting the region. This can include criminal activity, compliance, or other risks that may impact the organization.

Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills allowing you to gather information, data, and intelligence to create strategic plans that will mitigate risk and losses, and supply that information to Store, District, and Regional Management.

Able to adjust thought processes, solutions, programs and recommendations in a rapidly changing market where fraud trends continuously evolve in complexity.

Some who responds quickly and decisively to risk and loss scenarios that happen in-the-moment and are often difficult to predict.


YOU HAVE 
5-8 years of professional loss prevention experience, within a multi-store retail setting.

The ability to interpret business challenges and effectively influence change.

Extensive experience with Loss Prevention methodologies, processes, programs, and technologies, as well as experience with managing and resolving complex investigations.

Ability to make conclusions with data and intelligence information. Present findings to Loss Prevention Management and Retail Operations.

A Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience. Industry certifications such as CFI, LPC, CPP, etc. are preferred.


This role requires travel within your designated region, and availability during evenings, nights and/or weekends is required based on business needs.
