ABOUT THE POSITION
As Germany is our #1 market priority in terms of growth for the next few years, our European Digital Sales team is looking for a Digital Sales Manager to be based in Munich to manage the German e-commerce accounts for Columbia and Sorel brands. The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales plans, managing pre-orders and in-season sales and researching market opportunities within the area.
The Digital Sales Manager will report directly to the Senior Digital Sales Europe Leadership and will be part of a multicultural team, present in our EMEA HQ in Geneva (Switzerland) and in our key markets.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Manage and improve online sales growth:
Responsible for budget, planning and management of the German online customers
Execute the overall Columbia & Sorel digital GTM (Go to Market) strategy, working closely with the Digital Sales Manager Europe, Regional Marketing Manager or EU Digital Marketing Manager
Analyze sales, performance by style, category and brand. Use this knowledge and trend direction to supply recommendations to maximize opportunities and limit sell-thru risks. Share Accounts plans and performance within the European Digital Sales team
Maximize revenues, market share, brand presence online, margin and level of service based on analytics of sales, product, traffic and conversion performance
Drive and launch branded shopping experiences:
Playing a key role in bringing to life the brand creative vision within the wholesale online accounts to deliver optimized brand experience, brand presence and impactful digital product launches and aligned with our European Marketing calendar
Working with the local sales managers to help articulate and execute the plan for how products will be sold and differentiated across our multiple channels
Working with multi-functional teams in Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Account Services to align with the European strategy and perfecting customer experience
Implement consumer centric approach:
Create, review and present assortment plans for defined digital accounts on a seasonal base
Ensure customer classification maintenance by distribution channel, country and organization
Work closely with marketing team and ensure the on-line brand experience is supported by the assortment and promotional activity

YOU ARE
Able to define, develop and lead regional online channel strategy in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Fluent in English on top of German
Good at using your business judgment and acumen, and at influencing your stakeholders
Skilled at assortment creation and understanding of product lines and categories 
Skilled and versed in using e-commerce marketing tools (i.e. ad words, banner adverts) and terminology (i.e. ROAS, traffic, conversion) 
At ease in an international environment with remote and multicultural teams 
A friendly team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Enthusiastic about sharing experience and best practices with the rest of the European Wholesale e-commerce team

YOU HAVE
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Business Management, or in any related field 
+4 years e-commerce experience in the apparel/footwear/sporting goods industry with curiosity and interest for web culture, technologies, e-marketing, SEO, etc.
Experience using SAP, Salesforce.com or other ERP/CRM tools
Solid knowledge of Microsoft office with strength in Excel and PowerPoint 
Strong business judgment, proven ability to influence others
