About the job

The Account Services Rep is responsible for the management and execution of Columbia Sportswear Companys North America order book within the Canadian Region. This individual may be responsible for an order book up to but not limited to $30 million and 500 accounts.

This position provides analysis to support go to market strategies, supply chain initiatives and revenue goals for assigned channel or region. The Account Services Rep is responsible to ensure on time and in full shipping and develop and maintain positive internal and external business relationships that support the Columbia Sportswear family of brands (Columbia, SOREL, Mountain Hardwear).Leverage cross functional relationships to ensure completion of key order management activities, issue identification and resolution, and customer engagement initiatives.

The Account Services Rep leverages customer relationships and process knowledge to streamline business operations and order flow, increasing customer loyalty and profitability.This includes collaborating across several cross functional departments including up to but not limited to Sales Representatives and National Sales Managers, Logistics, Distribution, Planning, EDI and Master Data.

Responsibilities:
Fluent in French language, both written and spoken
Ensure customers orders are delivered in full and on time, in alignment with Columbia Sportswears go to market strategies and corporate revenue forecast. Utilize internal/external resources to fully understand the complexities of retail landscape and competition
Manage life of an order process including order deadline, in season order updates, contract conversion, on time shipping, and follow up
Act as a liaison between customers merchant and supply chain teams, Sales and internal Columbia supply chain teams as required to meet corporate goals / directives, and drive operational efficiencies for Columbia and account
Work to ensure that supply chain initiatives are being fully and successfully leveraged
Compile and analyze key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and drive customer-based solutions and decision making
Be knowledgeable of customers requirements, behaviors and expectations
Review, investigate and validate customer compliance deductions negotiating reversals where applicable
Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements by confirming communication and documentation of approvals for any policy exceptions
Plan and lead meetings and conferences calls with customers and sales on a regular basis, including travel to customer locations
Act as intra departmental resource and participate in or lead cross functional special projects as assigned
Maintain positive open lines of communication between all cross functional business partners
Drive process improvements through analytics, SOPs, and overall understanding of Columbias operation to enhance supply chain efficiencies and profitability
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience
3-5 years professional experienceand general proficiency with tools, systems or procedures required to accomplish the job
Apparel/footwear industry experience desired
Professionalism/Interpersonal skills clear and concise business communication; ability to influence others, comfortable interacting with customers, sales reps and management team
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment, multi-task, prioritize essential tasks and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
SAP experience preferred
