Job Description
As the Raw Materials Planning Analyst you will be responsible for creating, communicating and executing raw materials requirements, forecasts and analytics to support CSCs global supply plan and demand plans. A variety of key stakeholders throughout the organization depend on Raw Materials Planning, namely planning, manufacturing and product creation. You will also support multiple regions, brands, product types and corporate initiatives for both inline and samples raw materials. A strong focus is placed on brand-driven support of their exclusive product and go-to-market strategies.

Leverage product, functional and technical knowledge to drive raw material excellence in the form of forecast accuracy and supply plan optimization for both apparel and footwear. Must do so while balancing customer and brand demand and the need to be flexible, with the need to have strong vendor relations and overall manufacturing health.
Facilitate and oversee the creation of seasonal and monthly raw materials plans:
Long lead time greige/materials requirements
Shells/linings/zippers/trims greige/materials requirements
Color-level requirements and forecasting
Shared materials forecasting
Use of 3rd Party and/or proprietary raw materials portals required
Responsible for the Raw Materials requirements needed to execute seasonal, multi-brand samples calendars with many regional sales meetings
Responsible for excess material tracking and strategic excess raw material reduction efforts. Coordinate with SRT/Merchandising to utilize excess raw materials
Create and provide strategic raw material greige commitments and the corresponding analytics
Track and report all financial liabilities relating to materials commitments
Serve as a conduit between raw material and finished goods liaison offices to problem solve various manufacturing constraints. Work with both teams to predict issues and resolve in advance, or to mitigate customer delivery risk and minimize air freight spend
Work closely with Global Supply Planning team to react to and manage significant shifts in buy plans and/or capacity related constraints
Bachelors degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience. Business and/or Supply Chain Operations, textiles or related field focus preferred
Requires 3-5 years of professional supply chain experience and mastery of relevant technical or business skills required to accomplish the job
Previous Raw Material, Apparel, Equipment or Footwear experience desired
Strong analytics and creative problem-solving skills
Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality
Must be proactive and assertive in follow-through with colleagues and business partners
Must be able to develop and maintain fair and honest relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent requests/inquiries with minimal supervisory involvement
Technical skills (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Access.. etc), especially strong knowledge of Excel and Access. Use experience in Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets, charts and pivot tables. Use experience with Microsoft Access to create reports from diverse queries, data sets and data set owners. PowerBI experience preferred
Must have an awareness of and sensitivity to cultural differences
