As Columbia Sportswears Director of Enterprise Integration you will develop the companys global integration strategy, aligning application owners in successful strategy execution and delivery of core, integration development and operations functions. Youll oversee a mix of onsite and remote, full-time and contractor employees.

You are comfortable operating in the cloud and maintain applied experience with modern, integration technologies. You are skilled at creating actionable strategies, building cross-functional support of these strategies, and delivering high quality, well-supported development and integration assets.

You have a knack for building relationships and influencing outcomes in a highly cross-functional and complex technical environment. You are emotionally intelligent and possess the communication skill to effectively engage with executives, technical leadership and development teams to translate abstract concepts into defined objectives and deliver high quality results.

Responsibilities: Serve as the global leader for enterprise integrations at Columbia Sportswear Company.
Create and execute a clear, actionable technical strategy for enterprise integrations to drive consistency and standards across the integrations landscape.
Align senior technical leaders around a shared direction for integrations technologies, practices, governance and support.
Manage core integrations development and operations teams comprised of both full-time employees and contractors.
Cultivate leadership, management skills and technical expertise within your teams while providing coaching, development plans and career paths to encourage the growth and retention of talent.
Develop strategic succession plans for key roles throughout your organization.
Establish clear, measurable management practices for vendors which allow the company to gauge the relative success of these providers and drive improvement where needed.
Lead a team of highly technical Sr. Managers, Managers and development staff with a total team size of between 10 and 30. Effective interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and mentoring employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; supporting and encouraging the engagement process.
Operate with transparency, integrity and urgency.
Plan and manage project and departmental budgets and forecasts.
Occasional travel required

Experience:
10+ years of progressively increasing management responsibility leading integrations practice, development or similar functions in a large enterprise environment.
Minimum 5 years leading technical managers responsible for their own functions.
Minimum 5 years leading teams of 10 - 30 people.
B.S. / B.A. required; MBA preferred.
Strong understanding of modern integrations practices supporting near real time communications via the public cloud.
Demonstrated ability to obtain a thorough understanding of strategic business goals, craft an actionable technical direction in support of strategic business goals.
Capability to influence at various levels of the business, including executives, senior business leaders and non-technical audiences.
Experience building and structuring development teams, development practices, test automation and on-going operations for developed assets.
Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential and/or existing issues, evaluate available options and recommend corrective action.
Provide thought leadership, developing new ideas/alternatives and ability to contribute to discussion of abstract concepts and translate into actionable projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpretive skills, as well as the ability to effectively present, negotiate, influence, and create support around a common direction.
Sound judgment and decision-making, and the appropriate sense of urgency.
Effective interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and mentoring employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; supporting and encouraging the engagement process.
Proven budget and cost management experience.
