As Columbia Sportswears Project Management Organizations, PM III you will collaborate on the planning and management of Global Information Systems (IT) projects, guiding them from intake and initiation, through closing and post go-live stabilization. Here you will provides critical leadership, planning, and oversight of activities throughout the project lifecycle. Youll accomplish this through project management expertise, as well as the leverage of professional qualities related to personal initiative, a collaborative mindset, and solid judgement to deliver predictable and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Take new projects from concept into portfolio intake via scoping and planning
Oversee RFP creation and vendor/software selection processes
Facilitate requirements definition through team collaboration
Define project scheduling, costing, resourcing
Perform project prioritization review and analysis
Manage project status tracking including budget, milestones, risks, issues, and project change requests
Communicate and constructively engage with project stakeholders at all levels
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business or management information systems
5+ years of professional experience, to include proven project management experience
Project management expertise and PMP certification preferred
Advanced technical abilities which may include programming, debugging and/or code review along with a demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts and conduct complex interpersonal interactions often involving moderately to highly complex or technical topics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint and other Project Management toolsets
Understanding of project implementation methodologies and best practices
Experience in successfully managing projects in the areas of specialization outline above
Ability to create and implement sound business strategies and provide leadership to a diverse group of business partners.
Capability to work effectively within a PMO and manage multiple projects simultaneously
