The ecommerce Web Analyst will work with brands and the business to provide recommendations and drive ecommerce optimizations and insights. The analyst will leverage their analytical skills to develop dashboards, reporting products and ultimately insights that solve business problems. This position will report work collaboratively with various cross functional teams including operations, marketing, merchandising, planning, and relevant stakeholders to drive ecommerce excellence and efficiency.
General Position Summary:
The Web Analyst will work with internal and external clients to provide recommendations and drive ecommerce optimizations and insights. This position requires the analyst to have knowledge in web analytics, with a consulting and business savvy focus. The analyst will leverage their analytical skills to develop dashboards, reporting products and ultimately insights that solve business problems. This position will report work collaboratively with various cross functional teams including operations, marketing, merchandising, planning, and relevant stakeholders to drive ecommerce excellence and efficiency.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Maintain daily and weekly dashboards. Participate in weekly business reviews meetings. Identify traffic trends, abandonment issues and opportunities for improving site conversion rates. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to increase site conversion and drive site improvements.
Provide monthly/quarterly deep dive analysis of the Ecommerce business. Provide a holistic summary of performance and takeaways that take into consideration all device types, marketing programs, merchandising strategies, and promotions. Summarize and present findings to various management levels.
Collaborate with members of the Ecommerce team including Site Managers, Marketing, Merchandising, and Planning to provide analytic support to measure performance of efforts. Guide end-users in identifying key performance indicators for their areas and then build appropriate reporting that provides insight into the performance of initiatives and approaches within each area.
Coordination and analysis of product recommendations and specific site personalization tests
Oversee all web analytics tools to ensure accurate implementation and appropriate level of exposure, adoption, and utilization
Own the maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
Stay informed about, communicate, and apply current or new trends and best practices in web analytics
Develop processes and methodologies to automate reporting, where possible
Prioritize all ad hoc reporting requests based on potential business value
Secondary Functions:
Develop ad-hoc and repetitive reports and information tools as requested. Combine data from multiple sources and formats into tools for planning decision support, analysis, auditing and other purposes.
Research qualitative data from user generated content feedback tools (customer product reviews, feedback tabs, customer care transcripts, etc.) to inform user experience improvements long-term.
Support in the managing tag changes and new tag requests for input into a tag management tool.
Provide updates to stakeholders and Management regarding project status.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Position is not supervisory in nature
Specific Job Skills:
Strong data interpretation and communications skills; proven ability to summarize and present complex findings clearly and concisely to various management levels.
Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders.
Proven ability to multi-task and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Competencies/Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business or quantitative field preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, or quantitative field.
5+ years web analytics experience using Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Coremetrics, Web Trends, Tealeaf, and Google Analytics or like web analytic tools is required.
Experience with A/B, multivariate and other forms of web usability testing. Use of Adobe Test & Target a plus
Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand business/technical requirements for analysis purposes
Highly organized
Strong ability to interpret data and make actionable business recommendations
A curious nature with a desire to understand and master new ecommerce techniques and strategies
Ability to manage time, priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Conduct testing of developed website, tagging and mobile sites during the development phase.
Conduct Quality Assurance testing before implementation (for the above development types)
Provide consultative direction, and enforce best practices and standards. Analyze web analytics data to answer ad-hoc business questions
Should have experience implementing Adobe analytics suite of products (on both websites and mobile apps)
Should have experience with Tag Management Systems (Preferably Adobe DTM or Launch)
Expert knowledge of JS/Jquery is a MUST (8+ years)
Job Conditions:
Job requires hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week. Evening meetings/weekend work occasionally occurs. Some job pressure exists in the balancing of several projects with conflicting deadlines, as well as own time, to ensure the timely completion of projects. Work effectively under job pressure due to deadlines and operate independently utilizing discretion. Job may require limited travel.
