ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Initiate and monitor quarterly cycle count tasks for all locations. Monitor DC transaction errors against Columbia host systems (SAP / Full Circle), research and address issues to keep inventory in sync. Perform radio frequency cycle counting with a handheld scanner in all physical locations. Reconcile all exceptions generated from cycle counting and normal processing of orders. Perform inventory control activities on a daily basis. Includes physically counting and documenting all cycle counts. Investigate, document and reconcile inventory adjustments and discrepancies. Randomly audit stock keeping and put-away locations. Perform physical stock counts and checks as requested by departments. Provide this information to other departments. Assist Analyst III or Supervisor in investigation and reconciliation all variances resulting from end of the month reconciliation. Expected to resolve less complex issues without assistance. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while using distribution center computer system. Advise supervisor or lead people when terminal/system malfunctions occur. Frequently lift/carry up to 40 pounds. Occasionally lift/carry up to 60 pounds. Maintain positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization. Ability to cope with a stressful work environment and cordially interact with coworkers to accomplish common tasks. Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Position may require ability to be certified in/operate motorized equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Some positions may require 2+ years of technical training.
Requires 2-5 years of related experience.
Knowledge of inventory control practices preferred.
Working knowledge of at least two Rivergate production processes (for example: VAS, Receiving, and Packing).
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Possess ability to count and perform basic math.
Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time on concrete.
Possess basic computer skills or ability to be trained on the computer.
Ability to perform repetitive arm/shoulder movements, frequently lift/carry up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift/carry up to 60 pounds.LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY
No supervisory responsibilities. May assist with training new employees.
JOB SCOPE

Job has a great deal of similarity and regularity in terms of tasks performed.
Incumbent follows established departmental practices and procedures.
Duties are performed with specific directions given and work is checked visually and by results.
Decisions are made within specific department guidelines.
Errors in judgment can create accuracy problems with the flow of product from the Distribution Center, which may result in customer dissatisfaction.
JOB CONDITIONS
Job may require hours that often exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week to complete priority projects. Exposure to Distribution Center machinery/equipment such as conveyor belts, forklifts and loading docks. Exposure to computer CRT.
