ABOUT THE POSITION

Were looking for a results-driven Senior Sales Specialist for Sorel Europe to be based in Geneva, Switzerland to plans, manage, and monitor the sales activities for the brand within Europe. Responsibilities include coordinating with and supporting the regional sales and marketing teams, engaging with global merchandising and marketing to provide input to and then implement Sorel brand direction within Europe, develop sales plans, and research new market opportunities.


HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

Drive the seasonal sales process for the Sorel brand from initial planning, sell in, sell through, sell out.
Drives and collaborates with the EU Sales Director on setting the sales strategies and sales goals and directs the sales team by developing sales programs, providing sales tools, resources, and training.
Collaborates with Sorel global merchandising to provide input on European product needs based on retailer feedback and observations as well as market trends and competition, fix regional product line, regional pricing in accordance to market and margin expectations
Collaborates with Sorel global marketing to provide input on European consumer trends and competition, supports the execution of Sorels brand positioning and seasonal brand messaging, in-store product presentation and packaging direction.
Collaborates with Sorel global merchandising and marketing to provide input on European product needs based on retailer feedback and observations as well as market trends, fix regional product line, regional pricing in accordance to market and margin expectations, brand positioning and seasonal brand messaging, in-store product presentation and packaging direction.
Collaborates in the evaluation of the sales regions performances to targets and initiatives.
Recognizes and defines opportunities and maintains current market knowledge via sales representatives and direct meetings with clients/customers, and independent research.
Directly engage with strategic and major key accounts by visiting with them with the relevant account managers, present brand strategy and seasonal initiative. Establish specific business plans and monitor and manage their execution. Support in key negotiations.
Works with the EU Sales Director on annual strategic planning for long term organizational sales and profitability growth.
Monitors sales growth and provides regular reports on sales goals by region to the EMT and Sorel brand leadership.
Collaborates with the Regional Directors and sales team to drive the sales POV in the forecasting process from line inception to line termination. Works with Columbias planning division to provide necessary data needed to determine volume of product to be manufactured. Provides feedback on sell through and customer profitability.

Able to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Must be very good in creating good relationships with general stakeholders at all levels of business
High energy, passionate, goal oriented and driven individual hungry for success.
Great at getting things done - a doer and completer finisher able to multi-task and deliver on time in full
A strong communicator; fluent in English (French and/or German would be a strong asset).


YOUHAVE
University Degree or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 5 years of sales or merchandising management experience within footwear/fashion/sports/outdoor industry.
Must have a knowledge or understanding of the European & Global sporting goods / outdoor industry as well as brown shoes distribution.
Must have experience with and understanding of outdoor and lifestyle consumers and preferably from the shoe & apparel industry.
Thorough knowledge of marketing, sales theory, strategy, sales prospecting, territory planning, forecasting, use of sales tools, and closing techniques.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Thorough knowledge of product lines/services and sportswear/outerwear industry.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
