ABOUT THE POSITION

This Lead Business Analyst is on our eCommerce team. The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, our eCommerce team is known for relentless improvement of the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.

This Lead Business Analyst will be responsible for leading a team of other business analysts to support our eComms Order Management Systems for all Columbias brands and regions. This position will understand the operational execution of and challenges around how enterprise, web and order management applications are built, enhanced and modernized.

You would build trust by communicating flawlessly, establishing trust and credibility, delivering to their commitments, understanding problems, crafting solutions, providing thought leadership and offering observations and recommendations to improve requirement management practices.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
You will lead design sessions for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow; document risks and identify mitigation strategies
You will articulate and document typical order flows and order life cycle, key logic and use cases
You will create user stories based on high level business requirements
You will perform data mapping, data transformation, data validation and requirement gathering
You will test functionality and provide feedback and manage configuration changes for applications in the Order Management system.
You will make recommendations to management on opportunities for process improvements by utilizing and leveraging applications in this space.
You will provide application support required for order management and supporting integrations including Payment gateways.

YOU ARE
Able to guide solution development from design to completion to successful implementation.
Able to write SQL queries and read PL/SQL code.
Experienced with Oracle DBMS/ SQL Server DBMS/SQL, Stored Procedures
Very strong in communication, interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
Able to use logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, and can see hidden problems, being excellent at honest analysis, looking beyond the obvious

YOUHAVE
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, with related work experience acceptable in lieu of a degree
8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in an Order Management function
At least 5 years e-Commerce Domain knowledge, preferably Retail, including 2+ years of experience leading a work stream track as part of larger transformation projects
1-2 years leading a team strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of the technology stack that supports Order Management
Working Knowledge of E-commerce order to fulfill and return to credit functions
Understanding of a wide range of Order Management functions such as (Order Entry, Order Processing, Pricing, Fulfillment and payment processes etc.)
