ABOUT THE POSITION

The Amazon Sales & Brand Manager is responsible for the overall development and execution of a US and Canada Amazon strategy. This strategy will integrate seamlessly into the Mountain Hardwear eCommerce and Wholesale strategy, so our entire marketplace flows and works together to grow the brand.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Collaborate to develop both a short-term and long-term Amazon Strategy that includes 1P and 3P sales across the US and Canada that is integrated with the MHW E-Comm strategy.
Bring Amazon expertise to the Brand. Stay aware of all Amazon rules and protocols to optimize Brand performance.
Facilitate the execution of the long-range plan with all cross-functional partners
Develop a product segmentation strategy that allows for the entire marketplace to be successful with Mountain Hardwear product.
Support the setup and implementation of customer product presentations and meetings. Provide strong presentation skills to assist in presenting the line to retail customers telling a cohesive brand story that includes seasonal initiatives and product specifications.
Develop reporting tools and metrics to inform and assist in decision making.
Lead in sales data management and analysis including an understanding of customer financial plans and the ability to forecast future results. This analysis will lead to providing feedback and recommending action plans that are in the best interest of MHW and the retail customer.

YOU ARE
An outdoor industry expert understanding consumer buying patterns and retail dynamics enough to be credible and influential with customers.
Experienced in direct Amazon selling experience with a proven track record of establishing and growing a healthy business on the platform
Very familiar with merchandising, buying, product allocation, and retail sales analysis.
Very familiar with retail math and open-to-buy metrics and the retail financial planning process.
Able to manage, analyze, and translate data into action.

YOU HAVE
A Bachelors Degree, preferably with an emphasis in business or related field or equivalent work experience
5-8 years experience working directly with Amazon
3 years of sales experience analyzing and influencing the decision-making process.
2-5 years directAmazon 1P experience with a well-known brand
Advanced knowledge of excel and use for data analysis
The ability to travel up to 75% of the time once COVID restrictions have lifted
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines - with hours that will sometimes exceed 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week.
