ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear focused company, technology is central to everything we do. Columbia Sportswears Global Information Services (GIS) teams enable an IT infrastructure across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.

The DTC Azure Architect at Columbia Sportswear serves as the global technical leader for Retail IT technical solutions and an integral part of the global Direct to Consumer (DTC) IT team. This role partners with global technology teams onsite/offshore to orchestrate delivery/implementation of continuous software releases and updates that support our mission critical Retail IT functions and systems. This position is accountable for multiple technical teams tasked with managing and delivering technical solutions for Retail IT across the enterprise.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Envision product development and manage projects related to Direct to Consumer utilizing Azure services stack
Analyze, design and develop software enhancements and new modules around Direct to Consumer technologies (DTC)
Manage IT design phase of the project by owning and creating various technical design document and help cross functional teams during the rest of the project phase (development to Go-Live)
Manage DTC IT Azure Services roadmap in your organization, creating and updating throughout the lifecycle
Manage innovation in your organization and will be responsible for creating prototypes for these ideas
Research product development options and provides analysis for product direction
Consult with internal departments to identify customer needs and include into project objectives
Provide guidance to the software development team along with making sure they are following standard coding practices

YOU ARE
A communicator that can effectively build relationships and influence outcomes in a highly cross-functional matrix organization.
Comfortable engaging with senior leadership level and have a proven ability to drive for results
A problem solver with the ability to identify potential and/or existing issues, evaluate available options and recommend corrective action
Extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication
Self-motivated to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability

YOUHAVE
10+ years of IT experience as hands on developer, technical Lead, solution architect, application architect. With at least one full implementation of solution/architecture using serverless computing technologies on Microsoft Azure cloud
Architected, designed and developed custom frameworks that are used by other developers
Very strong C#, Web API, .NET (Core and Framework), xUnit, SQL Server, SQL Data warehouse, Analysis Services, Power BI, Modular programming in JS, Angular 6/4+, Type Script, HTML5, CSS3
Microservices and server less architecture such as Web Apps, API apps, Azure functions, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, SQL Data Warehouse, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Build and release pipelines
Expertise with Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, VNETs, NSGs, OAuth and OpenID Connect, Azure traffic manager, CDN, App Gateway and load balancers
No SQL Databases, REDIS, COSMOS, Azure ML (Preferred)
