ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear focused company, technology is central to everything we do. Columbia Sportswears Global Information Services (GIS) teams enable an IT infrastructure across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.

As Columbia Sportswears Enterprise Planning Applications Business Analyst, you will apply your expertise in packaged solutions to the delivery of Supply Chain capabilities that advance the companys strategic goals. Youll work in collaboration with business teams to understand and document requirements, and define and deliver functional technical solutions.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Perform requirements analysis on business requests, documenting the results
Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements through collaboration with business and Global Information System partners
Translating requirements for technical developers to develop the best possible solutions.
Production Support of current systems as scheduled or as required and team ticket management.
Communicate analysis and results to business, Global Information Systems partners and management
Work on assigned projects to identify requirements and resolve problems
Manage small to medium sized projects, developing project plans and monitoring deliverables
Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncover areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions
Perform functional user testing and user acceptance testing

YOU ARE
An excellent communicator, who can work well all with business users, as well as third party solution providers
A Project Manager, capable of leading or participating in projects and assignments from inception through successful implementation
An analytical thinking and problem solver, able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users
Able to quickly shift gears between audiences, from business users to highly technical resources

YOUHAVE
A bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Applications Programming or an equivalent field
5-8 years relevant experience in implementing/supporting business and systems processes, preferably in the retail industry
A high level of proficiency in creating functional specification and business process documentation
Experience in the design, implementation, or support of Supply Chain Planning Solutions for a company with the business complexities consistent with a global, $3 billion enterprise
Applied knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and related Supply Chain processes including Demand Management, Inventory Planning, Fulfillment and Sales & Operations Planning
Experience with MS Azure cloud environments, DataBricks, Blue Yonder/ JDA and or Logility a plus.
