ABOUT THE POSITIONIn Global Brand Marketing, we focus on our consumers behavior, and create experiences around the globe to build their connection to our brand. Whether its media strategy, brand/product storytelling, content creation or partner activations, the consumer is at the heart of everything we do. The Marketing team is looking for a Senior Manager International DistributorMarketing who will manage all marketing support for dealer partners globally, ensuring they have the tools they need to successfully and properly represent the Columbia brand. In this role, you will haveoversight of all marketing execution and regional strategy within the International Distributor Region (IDR) business, including all brand communications, retail environments, key accounts, omni-channel marketing, sponsorships, events, and other regionally-specific tactics.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCEEffectively manage a core team of marketing, while overseeing work executed externally by IDR partners.

Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic marketing guidance to GM of IDR as well as IDR business partners.

Partner closely with the GM of IDR and merchandising and sales leads to ensure an aligned seasonal go-to-market (GTM) process.

Coordinate and/or chair international business development meetings and lead marketing presentations at international sales meetings.

Provide oversight of all marketing execution and strategy regionally for the Columbia Brand.

Create and deliver all brand communications (traditional and digital media, social media, PR), as well as retail environments, key accounts, omni-channel marketing, sponsorships, events, and other tactics that apply.

Partner closely with Regional Brand Management and Global Brand Environments to apply global stories and initiatives wisely within your region and work with local and global resources to create region-specific marketing, as appropriate.

Relay regional market intelligence to global organization and assist with transcreation of global campaigns.


YOU AREA subject matter expert on brand and marketing

Culturally savvy, possessing an understanding of and appreciation for diplomatic, cross-cultural communication

Able to build solid relationships with colleagues and partners and serve as a collaborative partner

Passionate about the outdoors


YOUHAVE10+ years of brand, marketing, communications experience

Previous marketing experience that spans all channels - traditional and digital media, social media, PR, retail environments, key accounts, omni-channel marketing, sponsorships, events, etc

Previous experience managing a team

Clear understanding of the retail industry
