ABOUT THE POSITION
Columbia Sportswears dynamic global supply chain consists of 4 distribution centers, 430 retail stores, 80 apparel factories and 20 footwear factories worldwide. By leveraging data analytics, we are constantly pushing to make smarter business decisions and identifying innovative ways to make Columbia Sportswears supply chain more efficient and effective to meet our consumers ever-changing needs.

The PowerBI Visualization Analyst will enable better decisions in the supply chain by converting data into compelling visuals that drive decision making.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCEUnderstand customer needs across brands, regions and channels and communicate their needs through visualizations.
Develop visual interfaces, shared visualization components, and custom visualizations for communicating data stories.
Build a cohesive visualization strategy across supply chain operations in conjunction with the Supply Chain Operations & Analytics (SCOA) team.
Act as change agent and evangelist to influence the adoption of data visualization best practices across supply chain operations.
Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams to iterate on the design and implementation of data visualization products.
Lead continued education and training of visualization tool functionality and best practices.

YOU ARE Able to collaborate with key partners to understand/identify requirements, drive knowledge into action and support data driven decision making
A strong leader who can guide and/or work on cross-functional teams and provide project management support
Ability to work independently requiring minimal direction, execute large projects following established guidelines/procedures and take initiative to explore and solve problems

YOU HAVE Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science and/or related field
3 years of relevant experience developing and publishing PowerBI reports, dashboards and datasets
Experience in writing and working with DAX functions
Experience in leveraging data visualization and dashboarding techniques to make complex data more accessible, understandable and usable to drive business decisions and outcomes
Proficient with full Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience working with Microsoft Azure Architecture and data models.
Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypotheses and make recommendations
Experience in definition of new measures, and the translation of business goals into quantitative metrics and reporting
