ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear focused company, technology is central to everything we do. Columbia Sportswears Global Information Services (GIS) teams enable an IT infrastructure across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.

As an HR Integrations Developer on our Global HR Technology and Administrative Applications team, your primary focus will be to build out and support the HR integration systems technical landscape. You will design, build, and support various integrations using Workday and Azure technologies. Reporting directly to the HR Tech and Admin Apps Manager, you will assist with development and support activities in new, legacy and ongoing projects.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Design complex new integration solutions in the HR systems landscape in addition to creating designs for changes to existing integrations

Take functional specifications or requests and transform them into technical specifications for development

Execute approved designs and build items in Workday or Azure platforms as dictated by project requirements

Perform unit testing for developed solutions and assist with further testing in concert with Business Systems Analysts and functional teams

Create clear documentation of integration functionality and testing results

Provide break/fix support for integrations and manage incidents related to them

Assist as second tier support when necessary to other team members for complex issues

Develop and assist with efficient monitoring practices for new and existing integrations

Follow standards and best practices for work in the landscape and assist in developing them when necessary


YOU ARE
Able to translate abstract concepts into defined objectives and have the proven ability to drive for those results

A problem solver with the ability to identify issues, evaluate available options and recommend corrective action

An excellent communicator that can document and present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences

Able to persevere and overcome resistance or setbacks while pursuing everything with energy, drive, and a need to finish

A relentless, versatile learner that is open to change and embraces experimentation to find solutions

Passionate for continuous improvement of technology, systems, and business processes


YOUHAVE
8+ years of IT experience with BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.

2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in building and debugging Workday Integrations including EIB, Connectors (PECI, WECI, CCW etc.) and Workday Studio

Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)

Strong technical experience with XML, XSLT and Java

Strong Development experience with C#, .NET

Experience with cloud technologies (Specifically Azure & Workday)

Experience with Agile concepts and practices
