ABOUT THE POSITIONThe eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for the relentless improvement of the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.
The eCommerce team is looking for Sr Business Analyst for Content and Browse. The position plays a vital role in improving the efficiency and impact of business operations, specifically impacting the online browsing and discovery experience, along with content creation and publishing. In this role, you will
analyze business requirements, recommend solutions, create actionable user stories, develop functional designs, create process flows and user journeys, and triage and troubleshoot support requests. This role also contributes to all forms of testing and manages user acceptance testing.
HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCELeads small requirement and design sessions and recommends, socializes, and captures business requirements. Develops ideas and process improvements to create efficiencies and solve problems. Partners with Product Owner to maintain and refine product backlog on an ongoing basis.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement functional and technical solutions to achieve the desired end state.
Designs, writes, and executes test cases and facilitates user acceptance testing.
Creates acceptance criteria with minimal input from stakeholders. Coordinates with stakeholders on cases required for successful testing outcomes.
Measures performance and success outcomes based on various KPI's. Extracts and interprets the outcomes to verify project outcomes.
Creates and documents business process and data flow maps as needed.
Collects data to identify root cause of problems and proposes and enables solutions. Evaluates and determines severity of issues and recommends course of action.
Acts as a proxy for the Product Manager when needed.
YOU AREAn effective project manager capable of facilitating discussions, guiding solution development from design to completion
A strong communicator
Detail oriented and have a strong attention to the quality of deliverables
Well-versed in time management and organizational skills
Able to synthesize data and problem-solve to influence business decisions and ensure effective outcomes
YOUHAVEBachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science or related field or related work experience. (Preferred). Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
5+ years of Business Analyst experience as a functional consultant
Previous experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g. Hybris, ATG, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is a plus
Previous experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager) is a plus
Industry Domain knowledge preferably in Retail/eCommerce
