ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear focused company, technology is central to everything we do. Columbia Sportswears Global Information Services (GIS) teams enable an IT infrastructure across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.

As a Solution Architect on the Enterprise Integrations team, you'll help support, develop, and expand new capabilities at Columbia. You will drive the technology strategy, mentor technical teams, and evangelize best practices across Columbia. This hands-on role is responsible to defining technology standards and driving implementation of the Enterprise Services Integration practice for Columbia. This individual contributor role will have leadership responsibilities and be accountable to lead technical implementations in partnership with Enterprise Architecture and Integration Development Management.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Own the technical roadmap for Enterprise Integrations

Participate in the complete lifecycle of delivery including architecture, design, development, test, and document integration solutions, custom development, and data migration elements of business applications across technical domains

Lead efforts for standardizing, integrating and centralizing multi-system and multi-site corporate systems

Deliver quality results in multi-functional work environments and teams

Provide architectural assessments, provide input into new strategies in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and participate in the refinement of technology and architecture roadmaps

Define and shepherd requirements into technical solutions and lead design sessions and technical solutions

Define and clearly communicate requirements to all Columbia business units

Manage Azure costs as well as ensure the integrations meet business needs for scale, performance, security, and budget



YOU ARE

YOUHAVE
Technical leadership as an Architect or Senior Engineer for complex system integrations

5+ years of expertise designing, implementing and supporting Enterprise-grade technical cloud solutions meeting sophisticated business requirements

Excellent written and spoken communication skills

5+ years as software Engineer using .Net/ C# in an Agile environment which includes experience building complex integrations using modern RESTful APIs and techniques

2+ Azure (Enterprise Service Bus, Logic and Function Apps, Cosmos DB, etc)

2+ years of experience with Test-driven development using tools such as MSTest, NUnit, xUnit

Experience building "self-monitoring" systems using tools such as Serverless360

Experience in project and solution estimation

Exposure to Continuous Development practices
