As the Talent Acquisition Partner for our Retail business unit you will have the opportunity to apply a creative framework of sourcing and outreach to connect with passive and active candidates within the retail apparel and footwear industry. Here youll develop and oversee recruitment for this specific area of business throughout Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, SOREL and prAna.



HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Partner with hiring managers, HR partners and talent acquisition to develop and execute recruitment and hiring strategies that yield the best hires for Columbia Sportswear retail stores.
Builds hiring strategies in markets across the country that are aligned to business priorities and attract a diverse pipeline of quality hires
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans, making necessary adjustments in order to meet aggressive seasonal and volume hiring needs.
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting in our retail stores. Execute new store opening and hard to hire store hiring strategies in partnership with the retail TA pod team and HR partners.
Build networks to find candidates through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, conferences, and Columbia employees.
Utilize social media channels to find and attract talent as well as to further our employment brand.
Responsible for ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
Efficiently and effectively work with hiring managers to fill open positions on time and within budget.
Track all candidate workflows in Workday.
Responsible for assisting supervisors through the hiring process and delivering employment offers.
Provide timely recruiting updates to hiring team
Manage personal recruiting metrics

YOU ARE
Strong lead generation skills a must with the ability to develop recruiting plans for hard-to-fill requisitions.
Experienced in, and understanding of, retail environment and life cycle.
Proven ability to partner, collaborate, consult, and gain trust quickly with all levels of our organization.
Able to create sourcing strategies for hard to fill stores
Participant in virtual networking events.
Strong writing and verbal communication skills

YOUHAVE
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or other related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years HR, recruiting or TA experience, with at least 3 years of in-house, full life cycle recruiting in high volume skillsets.
Retail experience highly preferred.
