ABOUT THE POSITION
The Key Account Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of seasonal strategies with Sales Management to meet and exceed customer expectations and company financial goals. The Key Account Specialist manages seasonal Style Plans and seasonal preparation for Key Account pre-lines, midlines, and Sales Meetings. This role manages and executes SMU process for all account exclusive styles. This role
interfaces with several departments and requires strong communication, collaborative and organizational skills.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
1. Key Account Sales
Partner with internal and external sales reps to facilitate seasonal sell in
Foster and maintain positive and productive partnerships and relationships with accounts
Manage the life of an order including EDI transmissions, discounts and terms, and compliance
Liaise with Production, Planning, Allocation, and Sales Reps to ensure compliance and execution of best practices
Communicate shipping timelines consistently to ensure on time shipments
Identify sales opportunities through monitoring in-season sell thru performance
Create new style plan for current season assortments; include door counts, delivery season, sales, and events
PowerPoint whiteboard of all assortment layouts by category and door count
Provide master vendor article create by designated due date; Data validation all UPC's are set up and ready for customer orders
Manage all SMU set up and execution; work directly with internal merch team until UPC's are generated; Communicate all SMU UPC and style set ups to customer before order deadline
Ensuring Key Accounts receive the photo assets and marketing copy they require for digital selling on time and complete, Monitor Imagery on our Retailers websites
Prepare cross-territory setup and swag for clinics and events
Create Return Authorizations for warranty and other product issues
Ad hoc reporting by request from Sales Manager or reps
2. Event and Meeting Planning and Support
Manage Seattle showroom and storage space
Attend and host pre-season line showings with Key Accounts
Organize travel for buyers including transportation, hotels, meals, and activities.
Book models for midline, pre - line and final line showings
Monitor event budget; determines cost estimates and budgets; tracks spending and adherence to budget
During event timeframe, keep meeting and activities on track and flowing on schedule, address issues
3. Key Account Sample Lead
Prepare samples, merchandising pages, reports, and other tools needed for productive meetings and line presentations
Facilitate photo sample and proto requests and send to the customer
Coordinate REI's buy, label and ship out of Majors sample kit for REI's playground
Coordinate packing/shipping samples with hangers, return labels, line sheets, hand looms and CADs

YOU HAVE
The ability to travel domestically to Accounts, lines showings, and sales meetings to support sales management and sales representatives
3-5 years experience in wholesale apparel industry or a similar related wholesale environment
3-5 years of experience working with sales and Key Accounts, specifically REI and Ecommerce wholesale accounts. High school degree or equivalent required; College degree preferred Technical Proficient internet skills (searching, navigating)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with all levels of management
