ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear focused company, technology iscentral toeverything we do. Columbia Sportswears Global Information Services (GIS) teams enablean IT infrastructure acrossfourglobal brands,a global supply chain, and500+geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store,mobile, and data platformsto enhancecustomer interface and servicein anever-evolvingindustry.

As Columbia Sportswears Global Information Services Executive Assistant, youll be the right hand to this organization's executive leaders. Youll be relied on to balance a broad scope of administrative functions, confidential communications, and proprietary information. Your scope of work will include secretarial ownership, management of routine office matters, and engagement on special projects.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Provide analytical and specialized administrative support to company executive officers. Perform critical and confidential administrative/secretarial duties, and coordinate the production of correspondence and work projects for executives
Screen incoming communications and messaging to best assist and coordinate meetings, calls, and in person appointments. Evaluate the relative importance of each and handle appropriately
Compose letters and reports from verbal instructions. Attend meetings as needed to scribe notes for distribution
Schedule appointments and coordinates calendars. Keep outlook and contact lists updated and synched to always ensure efficiency and access for the leaders.
Coordinate travel arrangements, hotel and car accommodations, and planning of itineraries.Coordinates onsite and offsite meetings (large and small) including attendees, facility, equipment needs, catering, etc.
Develop office procedures and filing systems, as necessary
Maintains follow-up on action required.
Maintain positive, open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff and departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization

YOU ARE
A wordsmith, crafting clear correspondence and communications
Organized, prioritizing competing tasks with accuracy and efficiency
A problem solver with sound judgement and confidentiality
A rapport builder, exercising strong interpersonal skill and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships across the organization
Self-motivated and capable of troubleshooting, and completing work independently

YOUHAVE
High School or equivalent degree
7+ years work experience providing senior level administrative support in progressively responsible positions
Demonstrated, high level proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note/Drive)
Ability to create presentations using PowerPoint and/or other presentation software
Flexibility to work outside normal hours. Hours may exceed 8 hours per day
